My One Word for 2015

I don’t make New Years Resolutions but I love setting goals for myself. Recently I decided to sit down and work on some goals for the blog for this year. As I was looking at goals, this phrase kept popping into my head so I thought I would make that my one word to incorporate my goals and dreams around for the year.

ALL IN – That is the phrase that kept occurring in my head. Now I’m sure your probably wandering what that means. It means a lot of different things actually and it applies to many different areas in both my blogging life and my personal life.

What I mean by All In is that this year is going to be the year that I dedicate myself fully and put my whole heart in to everything that is in my life. Not just partially, but fully, 100%. That means I am All In with my blog, my family, my personal life, my jewelry business, and YES, even my faith.

I would say that I am a pretty dedicated and committed person, but there are some areas that could use some work and even more dedication. But I have to admit that this phrase is a little bit scary because I’m not exactly sure where this is going to lead me or where this could take my blog. But I am looking at this in a very positive way and I am looking forward to seeing where this adventure takes me in 2015 and beyond!

When that phrase was going through my head, I couldn’t stop thinking about the first part of Matthew 22:37.

Jesus said to him, “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”

God wants us to love Him and serve Him with with all our hearts. Basically He’s saying He wants us to be ALL IN. So, I think that being all in in every aspect of my life is is a great commitment for 2015.

As I stated earlier in this post, I have been working on some new goals for the blog, and I have to say that there are some pretty awesome things on the horizon for The Kitchen Revival and I am so looking forward to seeing it all unfold. I am not going to go into detail regarding these goals, but keep your eyes open for some new ideas and things that I will be introducing on the blog within the next few days and weeks.

I really LOVE that expression. I’ve really tried to be ALL IN this year going forward too! I had a friend who complained about not being where she wanted to be and it drove me nuts because she never committed to doing anything about it. I’ve always been pretty committed to stuff but now I’m really going for it!
