Mocha Almond Greens Smoothie

Ever since I got my Ninja blender last Christmas, we have been making smoothies 2 to 3 times per week. Sometimes they turn out great, and sometimes………………….well………………they just don’t taste as good as they sounded. I have lots of favorite smoothie recipes that I make often.

Oh my goodness, my newest smoothie creation is my newest favorite, for now anyway, until I come up with something even better. My Mocha Almond Greens Smoothie is the perfect pick me up mid morning smoothie, plus it is secretly green. I love it, and my husband especially loves it.

Mocha Almond Greens Smoothie

This smoothie would also make a great after workout treat!

Mocha Almond Greens Smoothie

Save Recipe


  • 1/4 Cup Coffee, chilled
  • 1/2 Cup DF Mlk of choice
  • 1 tbsp. Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Almond Butter
  • 1 tbsp. Ground Flaxseeds
  • Handful of Baby Spinach or Kale
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Blueberries
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 tbsp. Maple Syrup (optional)


Place all of the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth.

    I don’t drink coffee myself, but if I did, this smoothie sounds fab! I think I will make it for my husband as I know he would really enjoy it. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
