These healthy and delicious Crispy Salmon Burgers with Sweet Pickle Relish & Caper Lime Mayo are so simple and quick for a weeknight meal. Simple dinners are often the best!

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I could go for a nice juicy burger with hickory smoked bacon and cheddar cheese. But, sometimes its nice to try something a little more on the light side but also satisfying!

To keep the salmon burgers moist and flavorful I added breadcrumbs and mayo into the ground salmon. The breadcrumbs is what helps to keep the salmon burger patties tender and stay together as they are being cooked. To further enhance the flavor in these burgers, I added dill, lime, and capers to the mayo sauce.

You can add any additional fixings that you like to make your salmon burgers even more tasty! Perhaps crispy bib lettuce, sliced red onions, creamy avocado, or ripe tomatoes

YUM! Just thinking about this burger gets me excited because it’s not only healthy, but absolutely tasty too!

Crispy Salmon Patties

Ingredients

    Crispy Salmon Burgers
  • 2 Cans Boneless Skinless Salmon, drained
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1/3 Cup GF Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 Cup Mayo
  • 1/4 Cup Green Onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp. Coconut Oil
  • 4 GF Hamburger Buns
  • Sweet Pickle Relish
  • 1 Cup Mayo
  • 6 tbsp. Bread & Butter Pickles, chopped finely
  • 2 tbsp. Bread & Butter Pickle Juice
  • 2 tsp. Dill
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • Caper Lime Mayo
  • 1/4 Cup Mayo
  • 1/2 tsp. Lime Peel
  • 1/2 tsp. Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp. Capers
  • 2 tsp. Dill
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced

Instructions

For the Crispy Salmon Burgers

Place the salmon, egg, breadcrumbs, mayo, green onions, and turmeric into a bowl and mix until combined.

Shape the salmon mixture into the patties.

Heat some oil into a large skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon patties and cook for 5 min. per side until lightly browned and cooked through.

For the Sweet Pickle Relish

In a small bowl, whisk together all the relish ingredients. Set aside until ready to use.

For the Caper Lime Mayo

Whisk together all of the Caper Lime Mayo ingredients until blended.

To assemble the burgers spread the caper lime mayo onto the buns, then add the salmon burger and relish.
